PULPIT MINISTER - Adam Faughn

Adam is the pulpit minister for the Lebanon Road church of Christ. He and Leah have been married since 1999 and they have two children: Mary Carol was born in 2005 and Turner in 2007.

Adam was raised in Dexter, Missouri, where he graduated from Dexter Senior High School. He then graduated in 1999 from Freed-Hardeman University with a B.A. in history, and also received his teaching license. In 2003 he received a Master of Ministry degree from Freed-Hardeman.

Adam served as a part-time youth minister for the church of Christ in Somerville, Tennessee from 1999-2001. From June 2001 through March 2008 he served as the youth  minister for the 9th Avenue church of Christ in Haleyville, Alabama.

In addition to preaching, Adam has taught courses for Faulkner University and has written two books for teenagers: Be Wise God's Way and Building a Hero. Since early 2008, Adam has also served as a staff writer for THINK magazine, published by Focus Press.

Adam is proud that his family is filled with faithful Christians who serve as preachers, elders, Bible class teachers and song leaders. He enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports, reading, writing, and listening to music. His favorite books in the Bible are Job, John and James.
