Grade School Program

The Grade School Program was organized to provide fun activities and service projects for all students in 1st through 6th grade. Our goal is to develop strong spiritual values and lasting friendships.

Several couples have agreed to assist with this work and plan outings for this year. Listed below are a few of the activities we have enjoyed in the past year and several events on our future calendar:

  • Meet the Bible Class Teacher Open House - Lebanon Road's first "Meet the Bible Class Teacher" Open House was a huge success for everyone as we all gathered to meet our children's teachers. Refreshments were provided and the kids and adults had a great time.
  • Quarterly Devotionals - Quarterly devotionals are conducted each quarter. This is a great time for the kids to have a fun time of fellowship and study.
  • Monthly Devotionals - Two Sunday evenings each month, the youth conducts a devotional at someone's home. Worship, combined with food and fellowship, make these devotionals wonderful events.
  • Family Cookout & Hayride - Each fall at the Fraternal Order of Police Camp in Wilson County, we get together to enjoy roasting hot dogs and marshmallows around a large bonfire and to set out on an adventurous hayride.
  • Service Projects - These events are planned to provide service to members of our congregation or community.
  • Santa Visit - Each year, Santa shows up at someone's house for a night of fun.
  • Ice Skating - An ice skating event is planned at Centennial Sportsplex for a night of slips and slides.
