The Preschool Program
The Preschool Program was organized to provide fellowship and opportunities for our members who are age nursery to kindergarten. Our goal is to try to have several activities throughout the year.
Events and outings are planned by a committee of preschool parents. Activities range from trips to interesting places in Nashville to projects for the elderly such as a singing program. We currently have 30+ kids in this age group and it is growing each year.
This fall, there are many activities planned which include a bowling/pizza night, a hayride and pumpkin pick out, a service project for Thanksgiving, and a visit to Santa.
Listed below are a few of the places and activities we have enjoyed in the past:
- Sounds Game - The youngsters enjoyed a fun night of hot dogs, ice cream and baseball at our winning Nashville Sounds Stadium.
- Easter Egg Hunt - Every Easter, the kids enjoy a fun-filled day of searching for the Easter Bunny's eggs and goodies.
- Sycamores Terrace Singing - All the kids provided entertainment for our Sycamore Terrace residents as they sang beautiful tunes for them.
- Park Visits - During the year, events are planned at local parks that include playgrounds and water fun.
- Vacation Bible School - Each year, the children anticipate our VBS program that provides lots of Bible Study, Crafts, and fun events.
- Sunday Evening Story Hour - Each Sunday evening, our young children enjoy a story hour during our regular worship.
