Letter Writing Ministry

Our Letter Writing Ministry is a terrific outreach program to our visitors, elderly, sick, shutins, and members.

Every other Sunday, a team of volunteers meets to gather lists of individuals who may enjoy having a special card or letter sent to them. Several of our Lebanon Road members have a special gift of writing encouraging words, and those that receive cards and letters from this team thoroughly enjoy them.

Letters are sent to our visitors to let them know we appreciated their visit, and we hope they will come back for another visit.

Elderly and shutins who cannot attend church and are often lonely, receive cards from this team regularly. Nothing can be more warming than to open your mailbox and find a letter from a caring person.

Members of our congregation also benefit from this program as letters and cards are written to each person for their chronological age birthdays and also their baptism birthdays.
